Our Cuisine

Fu, Schooner Dallinghoo‘s chef and an expert in both western and eastern cuisine, loves nothing better than putting together amazing fusion dishes using all fresh produced sourced from the local markets. Fish and all types of seafood are available in South East Asia and on Schooner Dallinghoo there is never a shortage; much of it will be caught by the guestsand crew themselves during the day and served up in the evening, you will not get fresher and the best tasting fish is always the one you caught!

Most guest prefer to enjoy all meals on the aft-deck in the open air, here we have a wooden teak dining table with seating for up to eight guests. The awning above provides shade from the sun and meals and drinks can be taken while enjoying the views of the tropical anchorage – a view that changes daily!

If guests prefer the main saloon table converts to a dining table also and will also seat eight guests.

Attached to the aft rail is a gas barbeque and this is often utilized especially with the ‘catch of the day’ so that guests can have their fresh fish or seafood barbequed by their side.

This is also very popular for “special occasions” especially when a suitable location is found, the barbeque can be located on your own private beach and crew will set up a beautiful dinner on the sand for you to enjoy the sunset with a drink and dinner. What better way to enjoy an evening surrounded by amazing scenery, than with a bottle of wine and a sumptuous meal!

All food is included in all charter reservations this includes full breakfast, lunch and dinner service. Prior to your arrival you will be sent a preference list for you to indicate the general style of the meals preferred and also if there are particular items that you would like or do not like along with any special dietary requirements.

The team on Schooner Dallinghoo will do their utmost to please and ensure that all meals are to your liking however consideration must always be given to the remote areas that we cruise in and remembering that in order to enjoy the best locally fresh produce menus do need to be adjusted accordingly.

In addition to all the great tasting fresh food on offer, Schooner Dallinghoo also carries a great selection of alcoholic beverages; a good range of wines in various price brackets and also a number of different beers both local and imported. We also carry a range of the most popular spirits and some champagne however with this should you have any particular brand you like please advise in advance and we will do our utmost to source these; as you can appreciate on a yacht we can’t stock everything!

All soft drinks are included in the charter price and alcoholic drinks are charged as an extra as per usage.
